"Birgit Quiel has set the goal for herself, to use her own strengths for the benefit of others. She does so by helping selected foundations to meet their goals by realizing the right concepts for their management, planing and fundraising.

I am extremely thankful for the commitment of Mrs Quiel, because foundations can quickly become entangled in the complicated thicket of regulations, codes and paragraphs and thus end up unintentionally and without fault in smaller or greater turmoil.

That is why it is so important for foundations to have their services been completely taken care off. Only this kind of conscientious management can ensure the progress and long-term existence of a foundation.

This is particularly important to my mind because foundations serve the public good in many areas. They aim at filling those gaps that the state can not adequately support for. Especially as a minister I have often –painfully and personally - experienced that public funds cannot meet every demand – even if the requests are more than justified.

As a business representative I know of the importance of foundations in Germany. And I support these private commitments heartfully.

And - last but not least - one more word about ProFundus: If foundations serve - as mentioned above - as some kind of angels to help the less fortunate people in this country – then Birgit Quiel can be viewed as the good spirit of these foundations!"
